Chinese export parcel-gilt lacquered miniature cabinet, having scrolled crest with foliate vinery, dual cabinet doors with ovular reserves depicting school children in a courtyard, the side panels with young scholars, doors opening to fitted interior with seven graduated drawers, most retaining bone pulls, rising on bracket feet, crest intact with glue restorations, approx 26.75"h, 15.25"w, 8"d, 15.5lbs Provenance: The estate and interior design collection of Gay Ratliff (Martha Gay Kokernot Ratliff, Austin, Texas, 1942-2023)
