(lot of 4) English porcelain plates, 18th/ 19th c., including: (1) plate, attributed to Derby Porcelain Factory, gilt-decorated rim and foot, purple band with dark purple scrollwork, painted swags of laurel garlands with insects, centering a neoclassical urn in grisaille with pink roses, apparently unmarked, approx 9"diam, (1) plate, attributed to Derby Porcelain Factory, with a scalloped and fluted rim, gilt-decorated rim and foot, dark blue band, painted scattered flower sprays, apparently unmarked, approx 9"diam, together with (2) likely German plates, gilt-lined rim with embossed basketweave pattern, painted scattered flower sprays, (one) with iron-red "X" mark, approx 9"diam; 3.75lbs total Provenance: The estate and interior design collection of Gay Ratliff (Martha Gay Kokernot Ratliff, Austin, Texas, 1942-2023)
