(pair) Sevres-style porcelain vases and covers, domed and fluted cover with a pineapple-form finial, body painted with basket of flowers suspended from a ribbon bow, reverse decorated with a flower bouquet, reserved on the turquoise ground, highlighted with raised gilt enamel, scroll handles with bellflowers in relief, each terminating in a molded ring, fluted spreading foot, on a square plinth, spurious blue interlaced Ls mark,(one) with stable hairline at rim, (one) ring handle intact with restoration, finials reattached, approx 14.25"h, 7.25"w, 6"d; 8.25lbs total Provenance: The estate and interior design collection of Gay Ratliff (Martha Gay Kokernot Ratliff, Austin, Texas, 1942-2023)
