English Victorian Staffordshire pearlware figural group, The Widow, 19th c., depicting the Widow of Zarephath and son seated beneath fanned bogace, in naturalistic base with applied foliate motifs, intact with restoration to child's head, raised elements at base, and lower edge, approx 10.25"h, 6.5"w, 4.25"d, 2.5lbs Provenance: The estate and interior design collection of Gay Ratliff (Martha Gay Kokernot Ratliff, Austin, Texas, 1942-2023) PLEASE NOTE: Earthenware pottery pieces are inherently fragile.
