French tin-glazed earthenware reticulated basket, Luneville, 19th c., having dual ram's head handles, over pierced basin with draped foliate swag and ribbon motifs, painted floral bouquets, insects, and fruit motifs, rising on four feet, unmarked, rim intact with possible restoration, visible under blacklight only, approx 4.5"h, 17.5"w, 8"d, 4.25lbs Provenance: The estate and interior design collection of Gay Ratliff (Martha Gay Kokernot Ratliff, Austin, Texas, 1942-2023) PLEASE NOTE: Earthenware pottery pieces are inherently fragile.
