(pair) French Empire Old Paris parcel-gilt porcelain garniture vases, 19th c., having flared rim, flanked by dual winged figural handles, one side of the body with hand-painted domestic scenes of figures in sorrow, the reverse with subtle laurel swag and foliate reserves, socle base terminating on integral square base, some overall gilt loss, approx 13"h, 6.25"w, 4.75"d, 8.5lbs total Provenance: The estate and interior design collection of Gay Ratliff (Martha Gay Kokernot Ratliff, Austin, Texas, 1942-2023)
