Lot description
French Louis XVI style lacquered rosewood sideboard, J.P. Ehalt (Jean-Pierre Ehalt, 20th c.), 20th c., shaped marble top over conforming breakfront case, mounted with gilt metal rinceau trim, fitted with five cabinet doors, cabinetry with contrasting matched veneer, central and rounded side cabinets with elaborate flower basket polychrome marquetry, spaced by fluted columnar posts, (three) cabinets revealing interior shelving, (one) with stack of four drawers, (one) bar cabinet with two glass shelves and mirrored back, interior illumination in need of wiring, rising on tapering legs, ending on foliated sabots, retaining certificate of authenticity issued by the maker, approx 39"h, 105"w, 22.75"d
