Fine French Napoleon III period burled walnut cave a liqueur, late 19th c., serpentine-shaped case with bronze dore mounts and beaded brass trim, having hinged lid with central Sevres style porcelain portrait plaque, depicting the Olympian harvest goddess Demeter with Greek inscription "Dimitir," opening to removable cradle fitted with (four) etched crystal decanters with stoppers and (sixteen) matching cordial glasses, attributed to Baccarat, each decorated with floral swags and oval facets, case rising on protruding whorl feet, approx 10.25"h, 15.75"w, 10.5"d, 13.25lbs Provenance: Through our consignor, purchased from M.S.
