Monumental Dresden parcel gilt porcelain vase with cover and stand, now fashioned as a two-light table lamp, Carl Thieme, Potschappel, late 19th/ early 20th c., having pierced cover with hand-painted florals, the body with Rococo style reserves of figures playing musical instruments, flanked by pair of cherub handles at sides, parcel-gilt gadrooned foot with applied floral motifs, round gilt metal base rising on cartouche feet, blue underglaze crossed batons and T mark, overall: approx 35.5"h, 11"diam, 17.5lbs
