Rustic French walnut wine press screw, now converted into a display pedestal or plant stand, 19th c., having round top, over spiral twist central standard, circular platform base raised on round tripodal feet, central drilled hole for wiring from previous use as a floor lamp, approx 62.75"h, 12.5"diam Note: the circular cut-outs at the canted square base were used to join the screw to sleeves that facilitated rotation
