English George III mahogany secretaire bookcase, early 19th c., two astragal glazed doors opening to adjustable-height shelves, the lower cabinet with two upper faux drawer fronts that slide out and drop to reveal an interior secretary having a gilt tooled leather writing surface, ten drawers, a lockable center door with an interior drawer, two 'hidden' vertical drawers, the lower chest with three lockable drawers, on ogee bracket feet, lacking the molded cornice, approx 83.5"h, 47.5"w, 22.5"d
