(pair) French Empire verdigris marble cassolettes, after Pierre Gouthiere (French, 1732-1813), early 19th c., now fashioned as single-light table lamps, each with bronze dore mounts, pierced gallery above bulbous gadrooned body, three scrolled handles with figural mask facades, adjoined by foliate swag, rising on tripartite tapered standard terminating on hoof feet, with central spiraling serpent, further raised on platform base and tapered feet, observed operating for five minutes, approx 23.5"h, 9"diam, 50lbs total
