(lot of 2) Silvered metal bowls, including: (1) Art Nouveau champagne/ wine cooler, attributed to Albert Mayer (German, 1867-1944) for WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik), naturalistic form, with a melusine seated above a conch shell, with a salamander and aquatic foliage, the base formed as cresting waves, heavy tarnish and possible plate loss, condition of plate unknown, approx 13"h, (1) centerpiece bowl, Meriden Britannia Company, Meriden, Connecticut, shaped bowl, on base formed as an icy rock outcropping with two polar bears, heavy tarnish, scattered losses to plated finish, approx 6.5"h, 12"w, 7.5"d; 11lbs total (for shipping purposes only) Note: "Art Nouveau Domestic Metalwork from Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik, English Catalogue 1906," Graham Dry, Antique Collectors' Club, 1998, p.xxxvi, pl.24
