Italian Art Nouveau (Stile Liberty) walnut hall bench, in the manner of Ernesto Basile (1857-1932), early 20th c., latticed whiplash crest with figural mask, over arched and pierced cornice flanked by foliate finials, paneled back with frieze of carved tulips, over finely carved calla lilies, hinged seat revealing open storage, rising on frontal scroll feet, approx 100"h, 64"w, 19"d, seat height: approx 19.5"h Note: matching hall tree, valance and lot of three hall chairs offered in this auction
