(pair) French Neoclassical gilt-bronze sconces, 19th c., the stem modeled as a fabric swag, centered by a Wedgwood blue Jasperware cameo, each with a depiction of a labor of Hercules, (one) Hercules slaying the Nemean lion, (one) Hercules and Antaeus wrestling, above four foliate scroll arms, ending in a candle nozzle, now electrified, one cameo removed to reveal impressed Wedgwood mark, lacking (two) candle covers, would benefit from rewiring, sockets loose, approx 28"h, 12.5"w, 6"d, 15lbs total Provenance: purchased from Keil's Antiques, Inc., New Orleans, Louisiana-$7500
