(pair) Italian Venetian Louis XV style paint-decorated nightstands/ side tables, 19th c., in a distressed painted finish with worn polychrome foliates, scrollwork, and musical instruments, having shaped tops, over single drawer, and slide with inset leather writing surface, rising on cabriole legs, approx 25.75"h, 17.5"w, 12.75"d Provenance: From the Byram Family's Above Stratford Mansion. John Byram, a prominent Austin-based real estate developer, and his late wife Sally Byram curated this French Provincial style estate with the help of notable architects and interior designers. The home has remained untouched since Sally's untimely passing in 2006, serving as a testament to her taste for sophistication and craftsmanship
