Framed oil on canvas painting, Place de la Madeleine, Paris, signed spuriously lower right Edouard Cortes (Edouard Leon Cortes, French, 1882-1969), verso canvas inscribed EC/ LR1024, sight: approx 12.5"h, 17.5"w, overall: 22 3/8"h, 27 3/8"w, 8lbs Provenance: From the Byram Family's Above Stratford Mansion. John Byram, a prominent Austin-based real estate developer, and his late wife Sally Byram curated this French Provincial style estate with the help of notable architects and interior designers.
