(pair) Carved oak candlesticks, early 20th c., each having twisted French dolphin standard with textural incised scales, rising on molded tripartite base, retaining Michael Davis, The Market, Dallas, Texas retailer's label underfoot, some small losses, approx 9"h, 5.75"w, 5.75"d, 1.25lbs total Provenance: From the Byram Family's Above Stratford Mansion. John Byram, a prominent Austin-based real estate developer, and his late wife Sally Byram curated this French Provincial style estate with the help of notable architects and interior designers. The home has remained untouched since Sally's untimely passing in 2006, serving as a testament to her taste for sophistication and craftsmanship
