French carved oak longcase clock, Saint-Nicolas-d'Aliermont, Normandy, 19th c., having floral urn crest, over glazed dial viewing door depicting two lovebirds, white enameled dial with Roman numeral hour markers, inscribed a Dieppe, weight-driven time-and-strike movement marked ED, shallow rectangular case with paneled cabinet door, accompanied by pendulum, lacking striker, restoration to crest, not currently operational, approx 96"h, 18"w, 5.75"d Provenance: From the Byram Family's Above Stratford Mansion.
