Louis XVI style barometer thermometer, in a later parcel-gilt and faux malachite finish, laurel wreath crest, above a thermometer with Celsius and Fahrenheit scales, pair of carved birds perched on crossed arrow and torch, French barometer dial, later aneroid barometer marked Lufft, approx 39.5"h, 16.75"w, 4.75lbs Provenance: From the Byram Family's Above Stratford Mansion. John Byram, a prominent Austin-based real estate developer, and his late wife Sally Byram curated this French Provincial style estate with the help of notable architects and interior designers. The home has remained untouched since Sally's untimely passing in 2006, serving as a testament to her taste for sophistication and craftsmanship
