Fine French Provincial Louis XV style walnut buffet deux corps, 18th c., having protruding molded cornice, over frieze with carved scrolling foliates and florals in relief, fitted with four large cabinet doors on long exterior iron hinges, lower case with four additional cabinets, each opening to interior shelving, scrolled apron with central rocaille motif, rising on short cabriole legs ending on whorl feet, with peg joinery and hand-chamfered back paneling, approx 118"h, 109.5"w, 25"d Provenance: From the Byram Family's Above Stratford Mansion. John Byram, a prominent Austin-based real estate developer, and his late wife Sally Byram curated this French Provincial style estate with the help of notable architects and interior designers. The home has remained untouched since Sally's untimely passing in 2006, serving as a testament to her taste for sophistication and craftsmanship
