English brass-bound camphor writing slope/ campaign desk, late 19th c., with ebonized string inlay, rolled tambour top opening to six lidded compartments, lifting to reveal divided compartment with central cabinet door, slant front with central vacant cartouche, opening to pen and ink receptacles, and inset writing surface, over concealed storage fitted with three drawers, frontal large drawer, and dual recessed handles at sides, approx 11"h, 20.5"w, 16.75"d, 31.5lbs
