English Arts and Crafts carved oak mantel clock, in the manner of Lewis Foreman Day (British, 1845-1910), late 19th c., having balustraded crest with turned finials, over beveled glass dial viewing door, gilt-metal repousse dial with porcelain Roman numeral hour markers, time-and-strike movement, above three inset painted ceramic tiles depicting various allegorical figures, each with banner collectively inscribed "Morning/ Afternoon/ Eventide," initialed lower right, rising on block feet, accompanied by pendulum, not currently operational, starts and stops, approx 17.25"h, 10.5"w, 7"d, 12.5lbs
