Miniature Japanese parcel gilt lacquered kodansu cabinet, mounted with incised metal strapping on black lacquered ground, the top and side panels with scenes of various birds and bats in flight with meander pattern trim, metal handles at sides, case fitted with dual paneled cabinet doors depicting gilt enameled hawks perched in trees in low relief, opening to six drawers with lacquered scene of cranes and Mount Fuji, over large drawer decorated with peonies, cabinet rising on plinth base,  approx 16.5"h, 17.5"w, 9.25"d, 14lbs
