(lot of 4) U.S. Military Gas Masks and Horse canister cases: (1) WWI era U.S. A.E.F. Gas Mask, appears complete, eye pieces in good condition, retains wood mouth piece, black inner material is deteriorating, hose is now hard and deformed, green filter tank appears in good condition with paint loss, retains the instruction/status card with black safety pin, card case is torn; (1) U.S. WWII gas mask, the carry sack marked "U.S. U Army Service Gas Mask", appears complete with head mask, hose and filter tank, for shipping larges measure 14.4" x 11.5" x 4.5", (2) WWII era brown leather cases marked "Cannister Carrier Horse Gas Mask, WHG 4 4 is (model number), one "Right", one "Left", 8.75lbs total Provenance: Collection of T'Odon Charles (Chuck) Leshikar, Jr., (Texas,1946-2020), Vietnam, U.S. Army Lt. ,“Delta Raiders,” D Company, 2nd Battalion, 501st Airborne Infantry Regiment, later Echo Company commander, Silver Star, three Bronze Stars, Soldiers Medal, Purple Heart.
