American cast iron mantel clock, Ansonia Clock Company, late 19th c., having rectangular stepped case, with scrollwork and gilt painted accents, centering beveled glass dial viewing door, open escapement dial with Arabic hour markers, time-and-strike movement marked Ansonia Clock Co., patented June 18, 1882, accompanied by pendulum, observed operating for five minutes, rising on platform base, retaining Bucker Jewelry, Huntsville, Texas retailer's label verso, approx 11"h, 16"w, 6.75"d, 27.5lbs
