Modern art glass sculpture on pedestal, "Creation," retaining artist label marked De Anda (Carlos de Anda, Mexico, 1940-2015), titled and dated 1999 by a De Anda Group representative, of naturalistic form, with representation of the near-touching fingers of God and Adam after Michelangelo's depiction on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, likely kiln-cast, rising on patinated iron stand mounted with frosted glass orbs, reverse with candle basin, further rising on an unassociated hardwood pedestal, hollowed and electrified with single interior light and custom cut-glass pane, sculpture: approx 13"h, 22.75"w, 0.75"d, sculpture overall on stand: approx 17.75"h, 22.75"w, 15"d, pedestal: approx 23.75"h, 16.75"w, 17.25"d Provenance: The carefully curated western art collection of the Benton Family, Texas
