Italian burl walnut mirrored commode, 19th c., the mirror having split pediment centering figural bust in high relief, over scrolling foliate marquetry with portrait roundel and putti, encasing flat mirror plate, over marble-top commode, fitted with frieze drawer, over three standard drawers, each with elaborate gilt metal pulls in the form of a pair of merpeople, canted caryatid corner posts, rising on tapered square supports, commode: approx 37.5"h, 56"w, 22.75"d, mirror: approx 53"h, 40"w Note: Matching pair of nightstands and bed offered in this auction
