(4) Army Cartridge Belts, WWI era: (1) Mills cartridge belt, last patent date July 30, 1907, 10 pockets with eagle snaps, green color; (1) metal without markings, 9 pockets, 1 with two magazine pocket stamped at interior flap "Aug 1918, Mills within bullet form, Pat. Jan 29, '01l Jul 16 '07"; (1) Mills last patent date May 18, 1915, eagle snaps on 10 pockets; (1) no maker marks, 12 pockets and one triple pocket, all copper snaps and buckle with oxidation, for shipping all total 6.05lbs Provenance: Collection of T'Odon Charles (Chuck) Leshikar, Jr., (Texas,1946-2020), Vietnam, U.S. Army Lt. ,“Delta Raiders,” D Company, 2nd Battalion, 501st Airborne Infantry Regiment, later Echo Company commander, Silver Star, three Bronze Stars, Soldiers Medal, Purple Heart.
