Lot description
Victorian patinated bronze desk stand, late 19th c., the composition likely inspired by the Sir Edwin Landseer (1802-1873) painting "Islay, Tilco, and Macaw" commissioned by Queen Victoria, a parrot vesta perched atop bar with draped chains, ends terminating in candle nozzles, above circular base with terrier and spaniel inkwells, each dog with inset eyes, rising on bun feet, approx 13"h, 8.5"diam, 6.5lbs
