(lot of 2) French Henri II style carved armchairs, near pair, late 19th c., including: (1) having cartouche and bird crest, yellow upholstered back and seat with foliate and fruit motifs, flanked by twist supports and finials, scrolled arm supports, rising on turned stretcher-joined legs, one finial intact with restoration, (1) having cartouche and mask crest, yellow upholstered back and seat, flanked by scrolled frame, twist supports, and finials, grotesque mask arms, rising on turned stretcher-joined legs, largest: approx 51.5"h, 26"w, 29"d, seat height: approx 18.5"h
