(lot of 2) French Chinoiserie red lacquered tole painted inkstands, late 19thc., each stand centering dual inkwells, polychrome painted, with figural scenes and floral motifs after Jean-Baptiste Pillement (French, 1728–1808), rising on gilt metal base, including: (1) of oval-form, base with mounted flowers, one porcelain inset, (1) of kidney-form, with removable lids, both with some loss to painted surfaces, largest: approx 3.75"h, 8 1/8"w, 5.5"d, 2.5lbs total
