Winchester Model 94 Rifle, mfg. 1936, lever action, .30 WCF caliber, 20" barrel over the tubular magazine, ramp front sight, rear sight, walnut stock, the left butt stock with metal plate "TDC 8354", steel butt plate, wood with finish loss, scratches, scars, metal mostly with scratches and rubs, finish loss, action is good but loose, believed to some times affecting the  locking bolt and restricting closure of lever, bore semi bright, good rifling, pitting, SN 1118248   *REQUIRES FFL TRANSFER*    *PROVENANCE: As per the attached photo of the 'Notice of Award' to our consignor from the State Purchasing and General Services Commission, Austin, Texas on March 20, 1980, requesting payment for successful bids on firearms offered by the Firearms Officer, Texas Department of Corrections, Huntsville Texas, a sealed bid solicitation opened on March 7, 1980, line 383.
