Lot description
Moore's Patent Front Load Revolver, mfg. late 1860s, .32 caliber, silver plate finish, round 3.1/8 barrel with blade front sight and marked at top with mostly obscured makers name "National Arms Co. Brooklyn NY", six round smooth unmarked cylinder, the frame and backstrap with scroll engraving, walnut grips, the metal finish with surface scratching but retaining practically all of silver plating, wood good, action good, bore is semi-bright, some pitting, good rifling, serial number matched a barrel underside, interior of barrel lug with "DE", on cylinder with "DE", on cylinder pin with "DE", on butt frame under left grip with "DE" and on both grips stamped on the undersides with "DE", SN 11269
