Smith & Wesson Model No. 1, Second Issue Revolver, mfg. 1860s, .22S caliber, octagonal 3.3/16" barrel with maker name and address at top over a rammer pin for expended shell removal, 7 round smooth cylinder with three patent dates ending "Dec. 18, 1860", rosewood grips, last two digits of serial number matched at interior of barrel lug, cylinder, right butt under grip, number 41680 appears on underside of right grip, finish mostly silver tone with some bluing remaining on receiver, scratches and dark spots, action good, cylinder and trigger good, bore is semi-bright with discernible rifling throughout, SN 47635
