(lot of 2) Ceramic items, including: (1) Italian Della Robbia style majolica plaque, marked Conti E Italy to verso, depicting the Madonna and Child with cherubs, surmounted by polychrome fruits, approx 13"diam; (1) Turkish Iznik style ceramic lidded ewer, having handle and spout, ornamented in blue, red and green florals and foliates, marked underneath, small chip to spout, approx 16.25"h, 10"w, 7.5"d; 9lbs total Provenance: From the estate of Margaret "Candy" Becker (Austin, Texas 1942-2022). She was an artist in all areas of her life who created art in many different media, including needlework, quilting, watercolor, acrylics, mosaic, and clay. Candy was a consummate traveler who spent time in Mexico, Guatemala, Japan, Iran, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Spain, England, and Ireland.
