(pair) Western silver-inlaid steel spurs, marked P. Shirley, Flagstaff, AZ (Perry D. Shirley, Texas, Arizona, b.1949), heel bands engraved in a floral and foliate motif, 2" eighteen-point rowels, scroll chap guard, silver concha buttons, yoke: approx 3 1/8"w, 3.75"d; 1.5lbs total (inclusive of all materials) Note: illustrated in "Bits & Spurs: Motifs, Techniques and Modern Makers," Ned and Jody Martin, 2003, p.250. The authors state this design, known as the Dandy, was popularized by G.S. Garcia
