(lot of 2) Large pottery ollas/ water jars, Hidalgo, Mexico, tapering globular body, both with painted foliates between registers of geometric trim in a dark brown slip, including: (1) redware, cream slip accents, intact with hairline to rim, approx 9"h, 11.5"diam; (1) cream painted ground, approx 8.25"h, 12"diam, 8.5lbs total PLEASE NOTE: All of the Mexican folk art in this auction are inherently fragile. Most frames are likely to have small losses, dents, and imperfections. Retablos are likely to exhibit signs of wear commensurate with age.
