(lot of 2) German Meissen hand-painted porcelain figures, musicians from the monkey band, after the models by Johann Joachim Kandler (1706-1775), 20th c., including: (1) singer, depicted in a white cap, orange-red robe over a floral-patterned petticoat, holding an open book of sheet music, seated on a parcel-gilt rocaille base, blue crossed swords mark, incised number 133B 60014, gilt-painted number 1, restoration underside of book, approx 5"h, (1) drummer, depicted in a tricorne hat with plume of feathers, green coat and striped breeches, standing on a parcel-gilt rocaille base, blue crossed swords mark, incised number 113E 60015, restoration at side of drum, losses to strap of drum, handle of mallet, and monkey's tail, chip to one corner of hat, approx 6"h; 1lbs total
