(lot of 8) Chinese carved jade and soapstone items, including: (1) gui tablet, one side with incised buddha on auspicious clouds against flame halo; (1) cong, intact with reinforced hairline; (1) recumbent foo lion cabinet figure; (2) seals, both with 'dragon chasing flaming pearl' finial, varied coloration and seal characters, (one) with inscription to one side; (1) covered box, lid with Archaic calligraphic inscription; (1) toggle, in the form of a Neolithic axe blade, incised grain and meander patterns; (1) scabbard chape with pair of chilong, now fashioned as a pendant; largest (tablet): approx 4.75"h, 3.5"w, 0.5"d; 4lbs total Provenance: from a California collection
