Finely carved santo figure, Crowned Virgin Mary, Spain, late 19th c., gesso over wood with polychrome painted features, inset glass eyes, legs with painted undergarments and strap sandals, dressed in satin gown and blue cape, with metallic threaded lace trim, couched embroidery and applied faux pearl beads, large gilt metal halo, rising on cloud-form carved base, encased in large glass cloche, left arm detached but present, figure: approx 23.5"h, 12"w, 8"d, overall: approx 29"h, 10"diam, 12.5lbs total
