U.S. Springfield Armory Krag-Jorgensen Model 1898 rifle, mfg. 1899, bolt action, .30-40 caliber, 30" barrel, fixed front sight, marked at left receiver "U.S. Model 1898, Springfield," sporterized by reduction of forestock length and loss of bayonet lug and stacking swivel, hardwood stock, military style green cloth sling on the two sling loops, steel butt plate with port, inspection stamp at left wrist "JSA over 1898," circled P proof mark behind trigger guard, action good, bore good with strong rifling, wood with scratches, dents, chips, SN 121038 *REQUIRES FFL TRANSFER*
