(lot of 2) Scottish studio art glass millefiori paperweights, John Deacons (Scottish, b.1950), each initialed JD in cane and retaining adhesive maker's label underfoot, including: (1) in the form of a Christmas tree, comprised of various scrambled complex canes, white filigree twists, and polychrome ribbon canes, on rounded white skirt, approx 6.75"h, 3.25"diam, (1) with heart and star-form complex canes forming central blossom, concentric border comprised of red, white, and blue twisted canes, all above white upset muslin lace ground, cane date 2018, approx 2.5"h, 3.25"diam, 4.5lbs total Provenance: From the estate of Carl Carter (Texas, 1955-2023)
