Meissen porcelain figure group, Harlequin and Columbine, after the original model by Johann Joachim Kandler (1706-1775), depicting Columbine seated beneath a tree with a basket of flowers, her arm reaching up to a parrot perched in the branches, Harlequin kneeling behind her with a slap-stick tucked into his belt, blue crossed swords mark, incised numbers 782 115, a UV examination revealing restorations and losses to applied elements, particularly to tree branches and leaves, approx 8"h, 2lbs
