English metal-bound and inlaid camphor campaign desk/ writing slope, late 19th c., hinged top with inlaid gilt metal cartouche and banding, handles at either side, lid interior with damask-lined folio, opening to compartmentalized back edge and fold-out hinged writing surface inset with velvet, both panels of writing slope opening to interior storage, interior with hidden latch revealing three small drawers behind removable trim, approx 9"h, 20.75"w, 12.25"d, 23.1lbs
