(lot of 9) Scottish art glass paperweights, including: (1) Peter McDougall (Scottish, b. 1952), magnum weight, colorless ground with bouquet comprised of complex canes and close-packed millefiori arranged as petals, lampworked stem and leaves, cane signed; (1) Caithness Glass, colorless to translucent green ground, faceted view window, controlled bubbles centering 2000, etched underfoot Millenium 2000; (1) faceted cube-form, gilt intaglio floral arrangements to each side; (1) Caithness Glass "Maydance", acid-etched underfoot, translucent purple frit cushion, figures dancing stylized as green arches with controlled bubbles; (1) Paul Ysart (Spanish, 1904-1991, active: Scotland), pink-ground egg form with twisted and complex canes, retains partial maker label on polished base; together with: (1) magnum weight, polychrome complex cane carpet-ground on red frit cushion, etched underfoot PT Studio 2022; (1) iridescent black cushion, central close-packed millefiori, three rings of complex cane garland, pontil-scarred base; (1) colorless ground with sparse white frit, seven canes with various motifs and silhouettes including central angel, crown, swan, and butterfly, polished base; (1) miniature weight, close-packed filigree twists and complex canes on colorless ground, polished base; largest: approx 3"h, 4"diam; 11.8lbs total Provenance: From the estate of Carl Carter (Texas, 1955-2023)
