Studio art glass 'Ellipse' vase, David Patchen (American, b. 1966), having short narrow mouth, over circular body, flattened profile, rising on colorless round foot, the body comprised of Murrine in lime and cerulean with threads of gold and hyacinth, sections are divided with Zanfirico canes, the entire pattern spiraling via switched axis technique, signed underfoot, approx 19.5"h, 14.25"w, 4"d, 16.8lbs Provenance: From the estate of Carl Carter (Texas, 1955-2023)
