Framed watercolor on paper, "Blue Wheelbarrow", signed lower left Kathleen Stafford (Massachusetts, Italy, Texas, b. 1951), enclosed in custom carved and beaded frame, retaining artist and title label to verso, sight: approx 28"h, 20"w, overall: approx 38"h, 30 1/8"w, 8.6lbs Kathleen Standford's story of her and her husband's, diplomat Joe Stanford (now residents of Austin, TX), escape from the Iran hostage crisis of the American embassy (1979-81) inspired the Oscar-award winning film "Argo" (2012)
