(lot of 3) Small & Miniature cameras, no maker attribution: (1) miniature view camera, mahogany, brass screw joinery, brass lens with exposed threads, the hinged meal flap when raised reveals the upper glass view and would allow for placement of a film plate on the view glass (theoretically), camera overall approx. 1.5"h, 1.75"w, 2.1/8"d; (1) miniature camera, mahogany case with dovetail joinery, recessed lens, a short brass lever near the lens operates the shutter, a tiny brass tube approx 1/8" diam. at front extends to camera interior, the back of the camera is removable, interior is black, space is afforded for a dry plate, overall approx 3"h, 3"w, 3.75"d; (1) walnut like box, with brass lens at front, the glass plate at back slides off, interior is black with a slot for a dry plate, housed in wood carrying box with plate holder, for shipping largest measure 6.25" x 8.75" x 5.1/8", total of all 2.35lbs Provenance: Collection of Sam Westfall, Texas, Kansas including a huge quantity of antique cameras, magic lanterns, related advertising and many parts and pieces.
