Marcy, last patent date July 6, 1869, cylindrical body with interior removable fuel tank and double wick burner with dual controls, shutter control, Darlot lens, lacking top of chimney; (1) marked "Lanterne Universele, depose C&G, P", black reticulated body with nickel lens, removable fuel tank with three burner controls, "S.D.G.D" patent plate at back, lacks chimney, for shipping largest approx. 12.5"h, 17.5"w, 5.25"d, total of both 15.55lbs Provenance: Collection of Sam Westfall, Texas, Kansas including a huge quantity of antique cameras, magic lanterns, related advertising and many parts and pieces.
